Rites held Friday for Annie Coulter
Funeral services for the late Annie May Coulter were held from the Carle Funeral Home on Friday afternoon, April 2 at 2:00 pm.
The late Mrs. Coulter was born in 1872 in Port Austin, the daugter of the late Walter & Eliza Jane Weeks.
In the year 1903, the late Annie May Weeks married Robert Coulter of Novesta. Her husband preceded her 28 years ago after which time she lived with her paretns. In 1923, Mrs. Coulter moved to North Bayham, Ontario with her cousin William Weeks. About two years ago, they moved to Derchme where she resided until about five months ago when she came to stay with her Son and Daughter in North Bayham where she passed away on Tuesday March 30.
Surviving her are a Son, Albert, and a Daughter, (Lela) Mrs. Stanley Noles, both of North Bayham, a Sister (Mary) Caswell of Holly, Michigan and a Brother Lorne Weeks of Pontiac and several nieces and nephews.
Rev. Davidson conducted the services which were largely attended. During the service, Mrs. Carle sang.
The pallbearers were George Green, George Elliott, Alex Scott, John Scott, George Tupper and Elmer White, all friends from North Bayham.
Those who attended from a distance were Mrs. Caswell and Mrs. Ransom Weeks, from Holly MIchigan, Mr. & Mrs. Lorne Weeks from Pontiac and Earl Weeks from Deckerville.
