    District Obituary
    J. W. Weeks
    In the death of J. W. Weeks, in his 62nd year, after an illness of several months' duration, the town of Tillsonburg yesterday lost one of its best known citizens. Mr. Weeks was born two miles south of Tillsonburg, on King's Highway No. 10, where he was a successful farmer, moving to Tillsonburg 32 years ago and conducting a real estate business. He was a prominent member and worker in the Tillsonburg Baptist Church and Superintendant of the Sunday School for many years. He has been a member of Otter Lodge No. 50, I.O.O.F., for 30 years. Besides his widow, he is survived by one son, Ray, of Tillsonburg, two daughters Mrs. Gordon Hollier, of Tillsonburg, and Mrs. Gordon Stewart, of St. Thomas; one sister, Mrs Mark Ronson of Goshen, and four brothers, Edward, Clarence and Andrew of Tillsonburg, and John of Mount Elgin. The funeral will be held on Wednesday afternoon, with interment in the Town Cemetery.

    Death
    Mrs. J. W. Weeks Passes
    Mrs. Anna Belle Weeks, widow of the late J. W. Weeks, passed away on Tuesday in her 65th year. She had been ill about eight weeks. Deceased had been an esteemed resident of Tillsonburg for almost 40 years. She was a member of the Baptist church and was active in its work. For many years she was a member of the choir and for some time she was the organist.
    Born in the township of Middleton, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Eliza Jeffery. Her husband passed away about three years ago.
    Surviving Mrs. Weeks are three children, A. R. Weeks, of Tillsonburg; Mrs. Gordon G. Hollier, of Tillsonburg, and Mrs. G. R. Stewart, of St. Thomas. One child died in infancy. She leaves four grandchildren, Jacquelyn and Maralyn Stewart, and Billy and Gwendolyn Hollier. Three brothers also survive, William of Dereham Centre; Stephen of Mount Elgin, and James of Cleveland, Ohio.
    The remains are resting at the home of her son-in-law, Gordon G. Hollier, on Tillson Avenue, until today. The funeral will be held at the S. E. Carle funeral home this afternoon at 3;30 o'clock. Interment will be in the Tillsonburg Cemetery.
