Another house was built on the Joseph Weeks farm, (lot 5) about 300 feet in front and south of the big house. Alice Best came home as the bride of William Weeks to this new house, on December 23, 1903. There were 2 sons born to this couple in this house. Lewis Harold b March 15, 1905; William Wallace b October 21, 1907. in 1914, William Weeks moved his family to a farm in Bayham Twp. and the house was sold to Mr. Thomas Fletcher and moved to his farm facing Cranberry Rd. It is the house where Mr. and Mrs. John Langrell live now. Lewis Weeks never married and died on the farm where he was born. He was hard working, shy and a very kind person who looked after his mother until her death. Lewis passed away February 24, 1958 and the farm was left to his 2 nephews, Harold and Wallace Weeks, with his brother William to get his keep from it as long as he lived. 1911 Census Ontario, Oxford South, Dereham, District 4, Page 6 Line 13-16, Household # 57 Weeks, Joseph, Male, Head, Married, Born Mar 1835, Age 77, Ontario, German, Canadian, Presbyterian, Farmer Weeks, Arminia, Female, Wife, Married, Born Aug 1855, Age 55, Ontario, German, Canadian, Presbyterian Weeks, Louis, Male, Son, Single, Born Jul 1891, Age 29, Farmer Weeks, William, Male, Head, Married, Born May 1880, Age 31 Weeks, Alice, Female, Wife, Married, Born Apr 1878, Age 33 Weeks, Harold, Male, Son, Single, Born Mar 1905, Age 6 Weeks, Wallace, Male, Son, Single, Born Oct 1907, Age 3 Weeks, John, Male, Son, Single, Born Nov 1909, Age 1 1921 Canadian Census Ontario, East Elgin Bayham Twp; Page 8 William Weeks, Male, Widowed, Age 42, Birth abt 1879, Head Address Lot 11-12, Conc 11 Farmer Residing with his 2 Sons, Harold Weeks age 16 and Wallace Weeks age 13 William died on January 4, 1970, and the farm passed from the Weeks name about August of the same year. 1555 | Burial: Tillsonburg Cemetery, Section B, Row Q, # 13 Anna B. Weeks / 1874 - 1938 Tillsonburg Observer Newspaper, June 30, 1938, pg 6 col 1 Death Mrs. J. W. Weeks Passes Mrs. Anna Belle Weeks, widow of the late J. W. Weeks, passed away on Tuesday in her 65th year. She had been ill about eight weeks. Deceased had been an esteemed resident of Tillsonburg for almost 40 years. She was a member of the Baptist church and was active in its work. For many years she was a member of the choir and for some time she was the organist. Born in the township of Middleton, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Eliza Jeffery. Her husband passed away about three years ago. Surviving Mrs. Weeks are three children, A. R. Weeks, of Tillsonburg; Mrs. Gordon G. Hollier, of Tillsonburg, and Mrs. G. R. Stewart, of St. Thomas. One child died in infancy. She leaves four grandchildren, Jacquelyn and Maralyn Stewart, and Billy and Gwendolyn Hollier. Three brothers also survive, William of Dereham Centre; Stephen of Mount Elgin, and James of Cleveland, Ohio. The remains are resting at the home of her son-in-law, Gordon G. Hollier, on Tillson Avenue, until today. The funeral will be held at the S. E. Carle funeral home this afternoon at 3;30 o'clock. Interment will be in the Tillsonburg Cemetery. | Jeffery, Annie Bell (I527)

1556 | Burial: Tillsonburg Cemetery. Have photo of grave monument As Pearl's monument reads "Pearl A Taylor Mason", it may be that Pearl remarried after Harold's death to a 'Mason' or she was a 'Mason' as a surname - maiden name prior to marrying Harold C.Taylor/ I also wonder if for some reason Harold C. Taylor was a grandchild, raised by his grandparents, of one of Joseph and Thankful's children. More research is required. | Haley, Pearl Audrey (I276)

1574 | Cannot find this family on 1881 census but this info was placed on Fife website 1871 Scotland Census: Reg # 440, Line 22, Roll CSSCT1871_75, Household #70 Robert Wilkie, Head, Male, married, Age 26, Occ Yarn Bleacher Elizabeth Mitchell, Female, Wife, Married, Age 26 Andrew Wilkie, Male, Son, Age 3 Elizabeth Wilkie, Female, Dtr, Age 7 mos Robert & Elizabeth moved to England, London as Daughter Elizabeth married a William Ayres in 1889 ( Bride was 19 & Groom 21) Where did Andrew go? Cannot locate him on 1881,1891 etc Scotland census Jan 2011 I have found some immigration / travel documents with a listing of Andrew Wilkie, born abt 1867 - birthplaces have been England but this could still be possible if Robt & Eliz Wilkie moved prior to 1889 - have more evidence of an Andrew Wilkie in Melbourne Australia, some Andrew Wilkies in England with similar naming patterns of relatives that match common names in our Wilkie families, but nothing conclusive enough to suggest a strong match or strong possibility. Jan 2011 HW ancestry.ca file - Auckland Ship - 1245 tons, Captain: Stevens, Surgeon Superintendant: Sailed Glasgow 27th August 1874 - arrived Dunedin 21st November 1874 List of Passengers: Wilkie, William D., Age 57, County Fife, Occupation Ploughman Wilkie, Margaret, Age 55 Wilkie, Christiana, Age 21 Wilkie, William Age 16 Wilkie, Peter Age 14 Wilkie, Charles Age 12 Wilkie, Robert Age 26, County Fife, Occupation Ploughman Wilkie, Elizabeth Age 26 Wilkie, Andrew Age 7 Wilkie, Elizabeth Age 3 Wilkie, Margaret Age 1 Certainly there seems to be a little discrepancy in the ages and birth dates as I know them, but then this did happen on passenger lists and other databases - so for the moment this checks out. I wonder, though, why Janet left earlier and was married in New Zealand, then also Son James - seems he was perhaps married there also - why did they leave earlier. I also wonder if all of these families or just some were sponsored by the govt to migrate to New Zealand?????
