Once again, in researching, someone has promoted one Isabella Rae from Montana, but there isn't enough information to link her to 'our' family of Rae's; also one indicates a marriage between Isabella Rae and William Palmer, but the certificate of marriage on Scotland's People state the Parents of Isabella Rae as James Rae, coal miner & Helen Rae, therefore not 'ours'. hw
Rae, Isabella (I1887)

2656 Scotland Statutory Births: 1865 - - 55
Name: Margaret Rae, illegitimate
Date of Birth: 18 Jul 1865, midnight
Place: Windyhead, Aberdour, Fife,
Female
Mother: Margaret Rae, Farmer's Daughter
Informant: Margaret Rae (Mother) for now I am presuming Mother & Informant are one and the same hw
Registered: 1865, Aug 7th ?? at Aberdour, J L Ironside, Registrar
Seems odd registered on 7th when birth occurred 18th?? hw and I cannot make out a 2 in front of 7 to suggest reg. happened 27th

Initially I had linked this illegitimate birth to Margaret Wilkie - Rae born abt 1844, who was also an illegitimate child of Margaret Wilkie born 1823 who married Geo Rae in 1849

However further research has revealed that a Margaret Condie or Condil, died August 7th 1861 at Mawcarse, Orwell, Kinross, who mother is named as Margaret Wilkie, and death registered by Uncle Charles Wilkie - (brother to Margaret Wilkie b 1823 who Married Geo Rae) which I believe could be Margaret Wilkie born 1844, thus if deceased, couldn't give birth to another Margaret Rae b 1865 hw.

Benjamin Barclay, Age 19, ** (unknown - ? relative or not)

I have searched ancestry.ca for other possible leads on David Barclay - some dates match but without knowing who he might have married, his occupation - certainly I have located one David Barclay - married to an Ann unknown, migrated to USA in 1890s, which could be very possible, considering his Parents deaths in 1874 & 1885, and this couple of David & Ann are found in Utah in 1930 - occupation seems to be engineer of locomotive engineman in 1930 so occupation is consistent. While searching the government NZ site, I located 3 marriages during the years 1886 & 1900 for a George Sinclair - 3 matches returned:
1886/1851 Mary Checkley & George Sinclair
1898/2879 Charlotte Ann Slater & George William Sinclair - can eliminate this one as not Georg Alexander
1897/2805 Anna Elizabeth Wright & George Sinclair
Jan 2011 HW

2019 research - still have not confirmed a marriage for George Alexander Sinclair but it seems Tuberculosis was prevalent in this Family , thus strong possiblity his death was also tuberculosis related hw

Correspondence with another researcher - John Hutton - has these people in his genealogy files.
He states Mary Murray Sinclair, George Alexander Sinclair and Agnes Green Sinclair never married.
