Helen (McAuley) Palen, formerly of R. R. #7 Tillsonburg at the age of 74 years. Born in Rama Township, November 16 1932, Daughter of the late Edward McAuley and the late former Frances (McMillan) McAuley (Black River, Ontario). Helen was predeceased by her beloved husband of 51 years, Morely Orrin Palen, October 15 2004. Survived by her much loved and loving family: Ted Palen of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan; John Palen & wife Wendy, Mary and her husband Perry Gosso and Theresa Palen all of Tillsonburg. Proud grandmother of six Grandsons. Survived by a Sister Mary and her husband Murray Smith of Victoria Harbour Ontario and nieces & nephews and cousins. Predeceased by a much loved Son - Private James palen (1987). Friends, former neighbours and relatives are welcome to meet with the Palen Family and share favourite memories on Thursday evening from 6 - 9 pm at the Verhoeve Funeral Home. Interment to follow in the Tillsonburg Cemetery.
