• Notes

  Preferred name - "Ted" Very arthritic with spinal stenosis; several surgeries, takes many medications for his condition, and as of 2001 spends long periods in bed for comfort. He is cared for by his wife, Margaret Ted told me per phone conversation that he was born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario Met Ted and Margaret on our Ontario September visit, 2004. Ted is now confined to bed, has spinal stenosis and unfortunately contacted a severe flu Dec, 2003, admitted to hosp, and was so ill, wasn't able to walk, thus became bedridden from then on. Home care comes in daily morning and night to meet his needs. Margaret creates a magnificent garden front and back as her therapy to keep her mind off Ted's deterioration. Death: Ted Rouse died 27 April 2009 (email recd from Shelagh Rouse - Granddaughter) Cause of Death pneumonia & leukemia
