David is listed as David Lochtie, Robert's son, unmarried, born in Eastwood, Renfrew and a Clerk, Bleaching & Printworks. David left a will on 6 aug 1860. A descendant, David William Lochtie says that apparently David Johnston Lochtie was ill and took a sea trip to Australia for a cure. However, he did not make it back to Scotland but died in England - buried in Exeter or Bath.
