Obituary
Quaife - Terry Lee "Happy" Quaife of Rimbey passed away suddenly on March
10, 1985 at the age of 29 years.
Born in Rimbey on June 22, 1955, Terry was raised there and received his education in Rimbey until October of 1974 when he was united in marriage to Melanie Marek also of Rimbey. The couple then moved to Calgary where Terry received his journeyman papers as a floor covering installer. During his time in Calgary he was employed by Aldon Floors Ltd. In 1981 Terry and Melanie moved to Rimbey where they cooperatively opened their present business, All-Structures with brother -in-law Garry Marek. Terry worked and resided in Rimbey until his passing.
He is survived by his loving wife Melanie of Rimbey, one son Kristopher and one daughter Erin Marie at home; his parents Stan and Doreen Quaife of Red Deer; eight brothers and their families; Wayne of Rocky Mountain House, Leo of Olds, Ralph, David, Ken and Brian all of Red Deer, Keith of Sherwood Park; two sisters, Dorothy of Windsor, Ont., and Penny and her family of Red Deer; his father-in-law Mr. Chester Marek of Bluffton and his mother-in-law Mrs. Doreen Glanfield of Red Deer, his partner and brother-in-law Garry Marek of Rimbey; two sisters in-law, Sharon of New Serepta and Robin of Vancouver, B.C.; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, March 13, 1985 at 2 pm at Rimbey United church with Rev. J. R. Hearne officiating. Internment followed in the Rimbey West Cemetery.
