    I am not certain that the John Lamb Wilkie - & family names connecting to him in Electoral Rolls are our relatives. In further researching of electoral rolls, I believe the Robert Alexander Wilkie that is located in Oamaru, Ashburton, Canterbury areas is our relative. The other names associated with him are his Sister and there is one marriage recorded to Nea Presland - for the moment, I shall go forward with this choice and consider it a 'guess' based on some facts.

    I lost track of this couple at this point, I have looked at other electoral rolls, some in invercargill area and others, that give a Dorothy MacKenzie, one states a widow, but the christian name Pearl is not there - so doesn't seem to fit, nor other factors.
