Also enumerated in the household were his wife Margaret Lochtie, daughter Jane Lochtie, son David Johnston Lochtie, and a visitor Eliza Lochtie (she is listed as unmarried, age 23, born Aberdour, I believe (Judy Philip's comment) she was Robert's niece - the daughter of Robert's brother John Lochtie and wife Helen Donaldson, b 1826 at parkend, Aberdour), and domestic servant Marion Barr. Robert left a will on 7 Jul 1864.

    " I believe that it was this John who was on the census of 3 Mar 1841 at Markinch, Fife, Scotland - a post from the Fife List advises that there was a John Lochty, age 25 (rounded down) at drapers shop in Markinch. John was a merchant in Thornliebank when he died in 1854. He left a will on 13 Jan 1855 at Eastwood, Renfrewshire, Scotland.
