Name alias: Always I have found Lillian or shortened versions like Lil, Lilly but the other names or initials seem to vary as per census, etc. Some cases there was an L, or a J but later in her life I noticed the A and on her death registration 'Adell'

1885 in Mears, Oceana MI, Lillian married William Asa Pringle and 10 yrs later Lillian marries Ara C. Marvin as far as census records reveal; in searching for a divorce, death, etc for one William Asa Pringle I haven't found one - some that are a close match reveal Wm Asa Pringle was a minister. 2 children are born to William Asa Pringle & Lillian (Slaght) - Jerome in 1886 and Asa William in 1889) So will try to discover more on these individuals; then by 1895 Lillian is remarried to Ara C. Marvin) Lillian, Ara Marvin, Ara's son by prev marriage, Lillian's 2 sons by first marr, Ara's mother and then Lillian & Ara's Son Albertus reside together on the 1900 census in Skagit Washington.

In 1880, Lillie is recorded with her parents Cyrennius and Maria Slaght, residing in Mears, Oceana, MI, USA. Lillie is noted as age 16, and working as a clerk in a store (presumably maybe her father's business as he is noted as a dry goods merchant)
