  Lorne Edgar (Woody) Woodford of R. R. #1, Otterville, passed away at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Friday, April 12 2002 in his 70th year. Beloved husband of Jean (Wilson) Woodford. Loving father of Connie Bantam and Dave Hearn of Aylmer and Janet Wright of R. R #1, Aylmer. Cherished grandfather of Christopher Wright and his wife Jodie of Aylmer. Kathy Adams of London and one great grandson Jordon Wright. Dear brother of Verda O'Shea of Florida, Maybelle Brown of Sincoe, Harry Woodford and his wife Vivian of Simcoe and Orland Woodford of Brantford. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his son Larry Woodford (1975), grandson Craig Wright (1984), Brother Tom Woodford (2001) and brother in law Douglas Wilson (2001). Friends were received at the Ostrander's Funeral Home, Tillsonburg on Sunday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm, where the funeral service was held on Monday, April 15, 2002 at 11 am. Internment in Springford cemetery. A Royal Canadian Legion Memorial service was held Sunday at 7 pm under the auspices of Tillsonburg Branch #153. Memorial donations may be made to the Ontario Heart and Stroke fund.
